This is my first atttempt at a family website.  My family is diverse and  huge.  It appears much larger than when I began to dapple in family history.   I wanted to know about the stories and have found many to be based on truth.   I like many of you will never no for sure exactly how accurate the stories are  in their orginal form.  My Ligon family is also my hardest to find accurate  information on.  I have much information from my mother's side of the family.

I will edit this and add stories occasionally, as soon as I learn to spell.   This is also my first family history.  It is still not accurate and I will  continue to edit and change information or delete what is found to be  inaccurate.  Notes are coming along with family pictures.  I am the holder of  my families pictures.  I love them.  They make me feel connnected.  I have  good guys and bad guys in my family tree.  My grandmother used to say there  were few in betweens they were either preachers or moonshiners.  I will see.   Have fun on the site.  Feel free to ask questions and make suggestions about  things that appear from you research to be incorrect.
